Hans Kuster is not your average Joe. He deals with circulator pumps on the daily, believes in his user friendly, energy efficient product line mission, and started the entire AquaMotion business from scratch.
In an interview for Plumbing Engineer's Q & A section of the magazine, Kuster discusses the history, producet offerings, and challenges that AquaMotion faces. The company specializes in the production of cast iron and stainless steel pump for residential and light commercial applications. Various products included in the pump line are designed for hyrdonic heating systems, plumbing systems, radiant floor and panel heating, and solar heating, just to name a few. The products, Kuster says use much less energy than competition by 20 to 40 percent. Spare parts, replacement kits are also available to the consumer which also provide a lower cost.
Toward the end of the Q & A, Kust shares his ideas about the importance of building efficiency in the future. Apart from creating serviceable and cost effective products, Kuster leaves readers with an emphasis on education the trade. Through this simple step, he is convinced that those in the trade will make good decisions when it comes to selling and buying.
